Actress and singer Selena Gomez, who is worth an estimated $1.3 Billion, has announced that she has gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend Benny Blanco.
Benny Blanco is a songwriter, record executive, and record producer. He is also an author, showing the diversity of the talent he possesses. Gomez is also multi-talented, hinting at a shared genius between the couple.
The star made the announcement on her Instagram, captioning the four-photo blast with the simple caption, ““Forever begins now.”
The four photos included in the post showed Gomez’ dazzling engagement ring, a photo of the actress examining the ring on a picnic blanket, Gomez giggling while showing off the ring, and finally a photo of the happy couple embracing after the moment.

The two reportedly first met while collaborating on Gomez’s project “Revival,” and have worked together several times on many of Gomez’s projects since then.
The billionaire told Vanity Fair that she has several health issues that would complicate her ability to have children, saying, “I haven’t ever said this but I unfortunately can’t carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.”

Although she didn’t go into detail about the complications that would make it difficult for her to safely carry her own children, she has undergone chemotherapy to treat her lupus and required a kidney transplant in 2017.
Though she may have missed some things, Gomez’s happiness shines through in the pictures she shared of her engagement.
